Applying for Head Start and Early Start happens all year. Our annual enrollment period begins in February and runs through July. We begin accepting children in May for the school year that begins in August. Once a school is full to capacity we maintain a wait list. Applications are available at STEPS Corporate Offices, Appomattox Primary School, Cumberland Elementary, Nottoway Primary, and Charlotte, Amelia, Lunenburg and Prince Edward Head Start locations.
